Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
This policy explains what information VitaVima collects when you use the site, why, and what we do with it. We have kept it short and in plain language.
What we collect
Visitor analytics. We log anonymous usage data — pages visited, referrer, country, browser, and device type — to understand which tools and categories are most useful and to debug problems. We do not build advertising profiles.
Cookies. We use a small number of cookies for essential site functions (e.g. remembering your dark-mode preference, bookmarks). We do not set third-party advertising cookies.
Form submissions. When a vendor submits a product through our “Add Product” form (hosted on Google Forms), Google collects whatever you enter on that form. We receive the submission and use it to evaluate your listing. See Google’s privacy policy for what Google does with form data.
Email. If you contact us, we keep the email and our reply so we can follow up.
What we don’t collect
- We do not require accounts to browse the directory.
- We do not collect payment information — VitaVima is free to use.
- We do not sell or share visitor data with advertisers.
How we use it
- To operate, secure, and improve VitaVima.
- To evaluate vendor submissions.
- To respond to questions and abuse reports.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the site (hosting, analytics, form processing), under contracts that limit their use of your data.
- Authorities when required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect rights, safety, or security.
We do not sell personal information.
Third-party links
The directory links to external products. When you click out, you are subject to the destination site’s own privacy policy. VitaVima is not responsible for the privacy practices of products we list.
Data location and retention
Visitor analytics and form responses are stored with our service providers (primarily in the United States). We retain analytics in aggregate form indefinitely; individual session logs roll off within 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, email us using the address on the Contact page.
California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR. The legal bases for our processing are legitimate interests (operating and securing the site) and consent (where applicable).
Children
VitaVima is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes take effect when we update the “Last updated” date.
